However, carrying vapes on airplanes is not exactly the same as carrying a pack of cigarettes, since traveling with your vape kit involves carrying two types of items (liquids and lithium-ion batteries) that airlines consider dangerous. Additionally, regional and national regulations on vaping differ significantly around the world. You can’t just assume that you’re free to purchase vaping gear and e-liquid anywhere in the world like you do with cigarettes, and carrying your vaporizer on a plane certainly isn’t as simple as carrying a pack of cigarettes in your pocket.

So will we be able to vape on a plane in 2023? In most cases, you will have no difficulty traveling with your vaporizer as long as you follow the rules governing travel with liquids and batteries. However, there are some special considerations you should keep in mind if you want your experience to be the best it can be.

If the airport is abroad, you must clear customs and enter the country before you can vape. Then you will have to go through security again to return to the airport.

Since vaping is very inconvenient in some airports, this is another case where you will be happy to have an alternative form of nicotine supplementation.

How to carry your vaporizer on a plane?

Airline regulations regarding traveling with their e-cigarette equipment are mainly related to the fact that most e-cigarettes have lithium-ion batteries. Vaping battery safety is essential because lithium-ion batteries can overheat and potentially catch fire if mishandled. There is also a small risk of carrying a lithium-ion battery on flight due to the change in air pressure at altitude. For this reason, battery sellers generally must use ground carriers to ship products to consumers.

Any vaping device with a built-in battery (or any device with a built-in battery) should be kept in your carry-on bag and turned off. Many airport security guards will also allow you to carry a single e-cigarette in your pocket.

Maybe you like to vape, for example while walking in the park. However, many countries and communities have bans on smoking in public places that also apply to vaping, and this is another factor you should take into account before traveling. It’s always safe to assume that you shouldn’t vape in a place where smoking is prohibited
